- Extra Manufacturing Step: Edges Deburring. - Basic strike plates are stamped and inevitably leave shearing burrs on the edges. We add an extra edge grinding process to remove these burrs, leaving the edges smooth and helping prevent being scratched from the exposed strike lip.
